Cupro Linings
Cupro is a fabric made of regenerated cellulose fibers from recycled cotton linter. Linter are the small silky cotton fibers that stick out of the cotton seed and are too small to spin. These short fibers, that would normally be discarded, are refined to be transformed into a regenerated fiber.
An unlined or part lined jacket is a favourite for the summer but an added cupro lining to lighter cloths offers moisture wicking properties and better drape. For a heavier cloth cupro's cooling properties are also beneficial, even in winter.
