The islanders of Harris, Lewis, Uist, and Barra produce Harris Tweed entirely by hand and have long been known for the excellence of their weaving. Traditionally a heavy working type cloth for warmth and durability, it's uses in the modern fashion industry have favoured a light weight weave. Holland and Sherry have commissioned a beautiful selection of Harris Tweeds in a medium weight weave in traditional and vibrant patterns. This pattern features classic natural coloured yarns which reflect the natural dyes traditionally used on the islands.
