Vitale Barberis Canonico is one of the oldest wool mills in the world, with one family running it with passion since 1663.  Located in the heart of the Biella region in Italy, the worldwide renowned wool cloth district.

This 270g lightweight Seersucker fabric has a characteristic puckered surface.  The threads in seersucker fabric are woven using a special technique to create the characteristic crinkled effect. As the fabric is light and airy, seersucker is ideal for summer wear. More frequently made with cotton.  This lightweight wool version has more substance and better drape for use in suits or jackets and will stand up alone as an unlined jacket.  A perfect solution for a tradional cool look.
